Play Monte Carlo Solitaire

Match adjacent pairs of the same rank. Free in your browser — optimized for PC and mobile.

Tip: drag cards inside the table — the page won’t scroll while you play. Rules are below.

How to play Monte Carlo

  1. Cards are dealt into a grid (commonly 5×5).
  2. Remove two cards of the same rank that touch horizontally or vertically (diagonals vary by ruleset).
  3. After removals, cards compact and gaps refill from the stock.
  4. Clear the grid to win.

Strategy tips

  • Clear pairs that create the best compaction for new neighbors.
  • Track which ranks still hide in the stock.
  • Avoid isolating a singleton when its match is buried.
